dhindsa. thank you for joining us for fox 5 morning news. we'll have more on that spectacular scene out west but first we want to get a check of our weather with gwen talbert. >> we are getting the reality of being in september versus thursday where we were in the mid-90s which was totally unbelievable. another cool start to the day. yesterday, we didn't do too baddie. we'll show you what we're talking about. what we've got going on right now is just a few clouds across the area. we have the ridge of high pressure some control and that will continue to dominate our weather pattern over the course of the next day or so so we are doing pretty good so far as we start to embark into this weekend. here is a look at where we stood yesterday, temperature- wise. a far cry from that 96 degrees that we had on wednesday. we're into the 80s right now and today we are looking at a high that will bring us about 78 degrees. no shortage of sunshine, gurvir. >> thank you. >>> we do want to look at our top stories and more on that massive fire just south of san francisco that is blamed on a possible gas
to julie wright with the latest on traffic for us. >> good morning to you both. we are to have a quiet start with no incidents reported if you are making the trip around town. you will find overnight roadwork at the ramp from 124 to exit onto # 70 is in the process of being cleared. -- from 124 to exit onto # 270 is in the process of being cleared. on the uner loop all traffic was being diverted offer onto westbound 66 where you can ride the ramps at nutley street to continue. again, all traffic was being diverted off at 66. there is a work zone on the inner loop at route 7 that had the right side blocked. no problems to reported east of nutley street continuing in towards the capital beltway. traffic running smoothly in each direction. that's a check of your fox 5 on-time traffic. >>> new this morning, tons of belongings dumped out on the street a d.c. woman is being kicked out of her home accused of not paying her bills. matt ac lapped joins -- ackland joins us with what is going. >> reporter: eloisa diaz says yesterday, they came to her door and told her she was being evicted. tak
